Position Overview Be one of the friendly faces helping guests get their day at the mountain started off right. As a Guest Transit Host at Mt. Hood Meadows, you'll help create a smooth, welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive in the parking lot. You'll keep shuttle lines organized, assist with safe loading and unloading, answer questions, and help guests navigate their way around the resort. You'll work across multiple parking locations, communicating with guests, shuttle drivers, and other departments to keep transportation operations running safely and efficiently. You'll monitor guest volumes, help manage shuttle lines and traffic flow, provide current resort information, and assist guests with whatever they need to get from the parking lot to the mountain. If you enjoy working with people, staying active, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment, this is a great opportunity to be right in the middle of the guest experience. You'll spend your days outside, working alongside a great Transportation team and helping thousands of guests get where they need to go, even when the snow is coming down. This is a part-time, seasonal position Qualifications & Experience Must be 18 years of age or older Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively Ability to understand and follow directions Confidence working with a broad spectrum of guests Professional and respectful communication skills Must be able to work unsupervised Ability to stay calm in high pressure situations Ability to commit to working weekends and holidays during the winter season Preferred Qualifications & Experience Knowledge of mountain operations and industry details Prior service industry experience
Compensation:
Wage:
$19.59 - $22.80 hourly
