Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host / server assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Provide information about the menu and specials to guests, enhancing their dining experience. Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness in the host area and ensure menus are updated and presentable. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant. Assist bussing tables and running food Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff. Experience in guest services within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
