Fine Dining Host - Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro - Townsend, TN Position Details Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro is seeking an experienced, hospitality-focused Host to join our front-of-house team. As the first and last impression for our guests, the Host plays an essential role in creating a warm, welcoming, and elevated dining experience that reflects the Dancing Bear brand. We are looking for a polished, professional team member who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences. Schedule Requirements Full-Time Position Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to close Required Sunday brunch shift from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weekend and holiday availability required Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and manage guest flow throughout service Coordinate reservations and wait lists using reservation systems Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areas Answer phones and assist guests with reservations and inquiries Provide a welcoming, hospitality-driven atmosphere at all times Support front-of-house operations as needed during busy service periods Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relatable restaurant or hospitality experience required Strong communication and guest service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-volume environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Experience with reservation platforms preferred Why Join Dancing Bear?
