Job Description

Park Host Couple Waterline RV Resort Temple, Texas Waterline RV Resort is seeking a professional and motivated Park Host Couple responsible for daily front desk operations, maintenance support, and guest experience. The Park Host Couple will reside at the Resort on a Resort-provided RV site. Waterline RV Resort is committed to providing a welcoming, well-maintained, and community-oriented destination where guests feel relaxed, safe, and cared for. The Front Desk Manager plays a key role in delivering this experience through strong leadership, attention to detail, and a hospitality mindset. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Performing all check-in and check-out tasks. Managing online and phone reservations. Registering guests by collecting necessary information (e.g., contact details, duration of stay, payment method, etc.). Welcoming guests upon their arrival and assign accommodations. Providing information about the Resort, available accommodations, rates, amenities, scheduled events, and area attractions. Responding to guests' complaints in a timely and professional manner. Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff regarding work orders; supporting housekeeping and/or grounds maintenance staff as needed. Maintaining updated records of bookings and payments. Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to grounds, buildings, and other areas throughout the Resort as assigned. Ensuring that the Resort is presentable and inviting at all times, and that it adheres to the established standards by picking up trash/debris daily from common areas and streets, emptying common area trash containers as needed, and confirming common areas and lawns are maintained appropriately. Inspecting the irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly, repairing as necessary. Inspecting recreational amenities to ensure everything is in good condition, making minor repairs as needed. Ensuring all Resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards. Assisting with Resort-sponsor events including event setup, cleanup, and other support during the event. Preferred Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Customer service experience is preferred Skills Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills Clear and effective verbal and written communication Time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities Computer and technology proficiency Strong organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle frequent interruptions Sound judgment with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required Ability to pass a background check and drug test Ability to use a personal cell phone for Resort business Occasional local travel required (e.g., purchasing supplies, etc.) Knowledge of OSHA health and safety standards (preferred for maintenance duties) Position Type & Compensation Part-time, non exempt with 20 hours per person, per week. Complimentary RV site
Pay:
$12.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
