We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring all questions are answered promptly and courteously. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to assist with guest check-ins and manage seating efficiently. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally. Experience with POS systems is a plus; familiarity with Aloha POS is highly desirable. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
