The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest relations and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow. Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and specials. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and customer relations. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
