As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Assist guests with inquiries or concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Support food service operations by helping with menu explanations and accommodating special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address any issues promptly. Experience Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong communication skills are essential, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided. A background in food service or hospitality will be advantageous for understanding guest needs and expectations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate restaurant operations.
