As one of the first and last team members our restaurant guests interact with, you will play an important role in creating a warm, polished, and memorable dining experience. If you enjoy meeting new people, providing exceptional hospitality, and working as part of a team, we would love to meet you! What You'll Do As a Host/Hostess at The Swan Terrace Restaurant , you will: Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive. Seat guests promptly and provide menus in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain an accurate seating chart and appropriate server rotation. Ensure tables are properly prepared before seating guests. Answer telephone calls professionally and follow reservation procedures. Communicate accurate wait times and seating availability. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand. Ensure menus are clean and presentation-ready. Follow established cash-handling and room-charge procedures. Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, dining options, services, and hours of operation. Communicate effectively with servers, dining room attendants, culinary team members, managers, and other hotel departments. Assist the restaurant team as needed to provide an exceptional guest experience. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional personality, strong communication and listening skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
