We are looking for a Host/Hostess for our Keagan's Irish Pub location in Virginia Beach Town Center. This position is a front facing one with extensive guest interaction. The successful individual will have a bubbly personality with strong communication skills! The position can be Full-Time or Part-Time with evening shifts including weekends. Who You Are

• You ideally have experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting What You Will be Doing
• Greeting guests on arrival with a warm and friendly welcome
• Managing the Reservation System and floor / seating charts
• Accurately quoting wait times and escorts guests to designated table
• Following up with guest requests, either directly or via the assigned Bartender / Server
• Assisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment as required
• Bussing tables (clearing plates, cups, glassware and condiments etc.)
• Resetting tables to standard
• Answering incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing requested information as able
• Accommodating and processing "To Go" orders, merchandize orders and / or door cover as required
• Ensuring that the Host Stand (and all other assigned relevant areas) is maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
• Ensuring that all set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
