Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our Marriott hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service throughout the arrival, stay, and departure experience while ensuring accurate and efficient front desk operations. The ideal candidate is welcoming, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and courteous attitude. Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Process room reservations, payments, deposits, and guest folios. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and transportation. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns. Resolve guest issues or escalate them to the appropriate manager when necessary. Maintain accurate guest records and protect guest privacy and confidentiality. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments to meet guest needs. Handle telephone calls, messages, and other front desk communications. Follow Marriott and hotel standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Promote hotel services and amenities when appropriate. Assist with other front office duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
