Job Description
Job Summary Hello and thank you for your interest in the new Holiday Inn Express Hotel by IHG in Dania Beach, formerly The Sleep Inn Hotel (changing in August 2026). We are seeking energetic and dedicated full time and part time Hotel Front Desk Clerks to be the welcoming face of our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional guest services, manage reservations, and ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will create a positive first impression for all visitors, contributing to a memorable stay. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and proficient in handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible to work the AM and PM shifts, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Manage hotel reservations using IHG property management systems (PMS) Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while verifying identification and payment details. Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Address guest concerns or issues with a customer service problem-solving approach, escalating when necessary. Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and incidents in accordance with hotel procedures. Heavy communication skills with the General Manager. Knowledge of Quore is a plus. Assist with night audit duties as needed, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting compliance. Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times. Support team members in delivering outstanding guest relations and service excellence across all touchpoints. Must be friendly, helpful and attentive. Follow any and all tasks given by the General Manager and Executive Housekeeper. Qualifications Proven experience in the hospitality or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting. Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems (PMS). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse client needs professionally. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette and guest communication. Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience working with hotel management software and property management systems (PMS). Hospitality or resort experience is advantageous for understanding guest expectations and service standards.
