POSITION SUMMARY
As a Front Desk Agent , you will be one of the first and most important points of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for creating a warm welcome, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the front desk operates smoothly throughout your shift. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently Process payments, deposits, and guest billing Answer phones and assist guests with questions, reservations, and requests Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward appropriate solutions Make and modify reservations as needed Maintain accurate guest information and front desk records Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other departments Monitor the lobby and front desk area to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards Assist with daily front desk paperwork and administrative duties Maintain accurate cash handling and shift records Protect guest privacy and confidential information Complete assigned shift checklists and required documentation Assist with other hotel duties as needed to support the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and approachable personality Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Dependable attendance and punctuality Comfortable using computers and learning hotel software Ability to handle guest complaints and difficult situations professionally Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Basic cash-handling and mathematical skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
