Compensation:
$13.50 - $14 hourly
Responsibilities:
Welcome, register, check in, and check out guests staying at the hotel; provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information Answer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests Mitigate customer complaints as needed and have the initiative to solve them Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct for each check-in Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready for an easy check-in process Must be 21 with a valid driver's license and be able to drive the hotel shuttle van Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift of 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Taking care of our guest "suite shoppe," stocking and rotating items
Qualifications:
Experience in customer service or hospitality roles, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued each and every time Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with ease Proven track record of resolving guest complaints promptly, maintaining a positive guest experience. Strong communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and other departments effectively. Computer skills such as Google Docs, Word, and Excel Familiarity with hotel software or similar systems, ensuring accurate guest information and billing. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, demonstrating stamina and resilience during shifts.
