Job Description

Welcome Office Reservationist Global Wildlife Center - Folsom, LA We are hiring for a Welcome Office Reservationist at Global Wildlife Center. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with guests in a fast-paced, customer service environment. This is a full-time position, with compensation commensurate with experience, and eligibility for employee discounts, a 401(k), and paid time off. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Welcome Office Reservationist, you will: Manage reservations for tours, group bookings, and general ticket inquiries Respond to guest inquiries by phone, email, and messaging platforms in a professional and timely manner Provide accurate information about tours, pricing, availability, and policies Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in or directing them within the facility Screen incoming calls, ask clarifying questions, and route calls appropriately Maintain clear communication and follow-up with guests regarding bookings Accurately enter and maintain reservation information in booking systems Coordinate with Tours and Box Office teams to ensure scheduling accuracy Process payments and maintain proper reservation documentation Stay updated on schedules, special events, and operational changes Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment Assist with guest communication during operational changes or emergencies
Qualification Requirements:
At least 1 year of front desk or front office experience required Experience in customer service, reservations, or administrative support preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage calls, ask questions, and route inquiries effectively Comfortable working in a family-friendly environment and interacting with children Experience with membership programs or sales is a plus Join our team and help provide a smooth, organized, and welcoming experience for every guest at Global Wildlife Center!
