Job Description

We are hiring for a Tour Guiding position at Global Wildlife Center, one of the largest free roaming animal preserves in the nation! This is a physically demanding job and requires working in all elements throughout the year. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. Our Tour Guides perform a variety of tasks.
They will be expected to:
Conduct guided tours for individuals or groups, ensuring an enjoyable and educational experience. Engage with guests through effective public speaking and storytelling techniques. Manage time effectively to adhere to tour schedules while allowing for guest interaction. Address questions and provide additional information as needed to enhance the tour experience. Ensure the safety and comfort of all participants during tours. Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service throughout the tour. Perform physical work such as picking up heavy feed bags and buckets, using a blower, keeping our visitor center clean, etc. All Tour Guides are cross trained in Box Office and Gift Shop. Requirements Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide groups confidently and responsibly Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor Effective communication skills tailored to different audiences and situations Proven experience in teaching or explaining complex topics in an engaging manner Exceptional time management skills to ensure tours start and end punctually Ability to work outdoors or in various environments, standing or walking for extended periods Previous experience as a tour guide or in hospitality, education, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests as a Tour Guide!

This role requires flexibility to start between 8 and 9 AM and finish when tasks are done, typically 4-6 PM. What days are you available?
