Operations Manager Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Operations and Maintenance Team Member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and willing to rotate through various duties, including occasional weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including trash removal and facility upkeep. Operate machinery such as tractors, bobcats, and other equipment (training provided). Assist with project-based tasks, including basic repairs and support during shutdowns. Participate in a rotating weekend schedule (approximately once per month). Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support team members with various operational duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in operations, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role. Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks. Ability to learn and operate heavy equipment (training available). Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative. Reliable transportation and punctuality.
