Job Description

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests' first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. The hours will be 3pm - 11pm, Sunday & Monday. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. You will also provide our guests with area information. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. Responsibilities Perform all check-in and check-out tasks Manage online and phone reservations Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay) Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate Maintain updated records of bookings and payments Skills Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role Experience with hotel reservations software, like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor Customer service attitude Excellent communication and organizational skillsWe are seeking a dedicated Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless and welcoming accommodation experience. This part-time position requires availability on Sundays and Mondays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing check-in/check-out procedures, handling reservations, and providing guests with comprehensive information regarding our amenities and local area. Responsibilities:
  • Perform all check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Manage online and telephonic reservations.
  • Process payment methods and verify credit card information securely.
  • Register guests by collecting essential information, including contact details and stay duration.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and coordinate room assignments.
  • Provide detailed information regarding hotel facilities, room availability, rates, and amenities.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping department to ensure rooms are prepared and well-maintained according to guest needs.
  • Confirm group reservations and coordinate personalized services for VIP guests and event attendees, such as wedding parties.
  • Proactively promote and upsell hotel facilities and services where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all bookings and financial transactions.
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in hotel reservation software, such as Cloudbeds or RoomKeyPMS.
  • Familiarity with travel planning platforms, including Booking.com and TripAdvisor.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
