Job Description

We are looking for help at our hotel in Liverpool, NY. We have 2 openings for additional overnight front desk clerks (midnight to 8AM). Front Desk Clerks will be required to assist guests in the check-in/out process, convert phone inquiries into reservations, enhance the guest experience, assist guests in finding local attractions (restaurants, points of interest, etc.), maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, complete appropriate training, follow guidelines for guest interaction, assist the manager with hotel operations, as well as other related tasks. Additionally, night audit is responsible for setting up breakfast and overseeing it until the breakfast attendant arrives. All staff will work with the GM to ensure that guests are satisfied and reservations are processed smoothly. Starting pay is $16.50/hr (plus part in our gratuity program which generally adds an additional $0.50 to $0.75 per hour). Previous front desk experience is preferred but not required. Successful applicants will be PRESENTABLE, RELIABLE, MOTIVATED, THOROUGH, CONTENTIOUS and
HARD-WORKING.
Exceptional performance will provide the opportunity for an increase in the hourly wage rate and/or promotions. Our company operates multiple hotels, so there will be an opportunity for advancement as well. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required. All positions are subject to a 60-90 day probationary period.
