Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Agent to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management functions. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create a professional and efficient environment for clients, visitors, and team members alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a vibrant workplace culture. Responsibilities Greet guests and staff warmly, ensuring a positive first impression at all times Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally using proper phone etiquette Handle guest reservation bookings, cancellations and modifications Complete shift checklist and create shift report to inform other staff of any important updates Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all office supplies are stocked and accessible Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and managing electronic files Stock and Clean market area, charge guests for market items, inform management of necessary item restock Qualifications Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Experience with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively Previous clerical or administrative experience in a customer service environment preferred Strong typing skills with high accuracy; familiarity with data entry and proofreading tasks required Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures preferred Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to support customers professionally in person or over the phone Join Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn as a Front Desk Agent to be the friendly face that keeps our operations running smoothly!
