Description Part-Time:

Summary:
Exemplifies standards of hospitality and service to all of our internal and external customers. Greets and directs visitors and patients of the hospital to their destination, and is a resource for information and guidance. Always provides exceptional customer service with every interaction.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Requires high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences, simple medical procedures or terminology or office equipment.
Experience:
Minimum of 12 months of direct customer service or hotel/hospitality experience.
License:
N/A.
Working Conditions Physical:
Requires standing for full shift while on duty (no sitting or leaning except on break), walking distances to escort visitors, pushing guests in wheelchairs, and other constant physical movements on a routine basis. Also, frequent lifting/pushing/pulling of heavy items long distances and up inclined floors (ie wheelchairs with guests, including bariatric wheelchairs with bariatric guests).
Mental:
Some irregularity in scheduled hours because of compensated overtime requirements, including weekend rotation, or occasional stress due to periodic or cyclical workload pressures.
Environmental:
Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort routinely present in the work situation (moderately noisy, disagreeable odors, etc.) or occasional exposure to minor injury or other occupational hazards requiring precaution.

Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Some occupational risk
Physical Effort:
Medium to Heavy effort. May exert up to 35 lbs. force
