Guest Service Representative-Part Time weekends

$14 per hour
Overview:
As a Guest Service Representative at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, addressing guest inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction:
Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, and any special requests.
Reservation Management:
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with guests, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Problem Solving:
Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Cash Handling:
Manage cash transactions, handle payments, and maintain accurate records.
Operational Support:
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
Requirements:
Customer Service Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service.
Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Attention to
Detail:
Accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and guest information.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills; experience with HotelKey PMS is preferred but not required.
Team Player:
Collaborative attitude and willingness to assist team members when needed.
Flexibility:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role. Familiarity with HotelKey PMS or similar hotel management software is a plus but not mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent.
