Senior Front Desk Evening Supervisor (3 to 11 PM) 6971 South Tucson Boulevard, Tucson, AZ 85756 From $18 an hour - Full-time Apply with Indeed From $18 an hour - Full-time The Hampton Inn Tucson-Airport is seeking an experienced and hospitality-minded Senior Front Desk Evening Supervisor to join our Front Office team. This position is designed for an experienced hotel professional who provides exceptional guest service and has the maturity, judgment and confidence to serve as the hotel's Manager on Duty during the evening shift. In addition to performing front desk responsibilities, this position will provide leadership and support to the evening team, respond to guest concerns, help ensure consistent hotel standards and serve as the primary point of contact for operational or guest-service issues that arise during the shift. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional and efficient service throughout the guest arrival, stay and departure experience. Perform all front desk functions including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest inquiries, telephone calls, payment processing and Hilton Honors recognition. Serve as Manager on Duty when senior management is not at the property, providing leadership and responding to guest and operational issues requiring attention. Support and provide direction to Front Desk and other team members during the evening shift. Respond to guest concerns and service issues promptly and professionally, using good judgment to resolve problems and restore guest satisfaction. Monitor arrivals, special requests, Hilton Honors members and other important guest information and ensure appropriate preparation and follow-through. Support the delivery of an exceptional guest experience for in-house groups, key accounts and other priority guests, working with Sales and property leadership to understand service expectations and help ensure consistent execution by the Front Office team. Build positive guest relationships and communicate relevant feedback, service issues and opportunities to Sales and property leadership to support guest satisfaction, account retention and future business. Help ensure consistent execution of Front Office procedures, service standards, cash-handling requirements and hotel policies. Assist with the training and development of Front Desk team members and provide coaching and support during the shift. Communicate significant guest, operational, maintenance or safety issues to property leadership and ensure appropriate shift-to-shift follow-up. Remain calm and exercise sound judgment during emergencies, high-occupancy periods and unusual situations. Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel's property management system, Hilton programs, hotel services and the surrounding area. Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure a positive and consistent guest experience. Qualifications Previous hotel Front Desk or Guest Services experience required. Prior experience as a Senior Guest Service Representative, Front Desk Lead, Supervisor or similar position preferred. Hilton experience preferred. Strong knowledge of front desk operations and hotel guest-service standards. Exceptional guest-service and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve concerns using tact, professionalism and good judgment. Demonstrated maturity and confidence to make appropriate decisions while serving as Manager on Duty. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented approach. Dependable, organized and able to work effectively with limited supervision. Must be available to work the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
