Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Motel Manager to join our hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will support the overall management of the motel, ensuring seamless daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and efficient team leadership. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping coordination, and maintenance oversight Supervise and motivate hospitality teams to deliver outstanding guest services aligned with property standards Manage hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) to ensure accurate bookings and guest records Support revenue management initiatives by monitoring occupancy rates, pricing strategies, and budget adherence Handle guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Collaborate with human resources on staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations Maintain hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial transactions, and support financial management efforts to optimize profitability Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication and team collaboration Proven experience in overseeing daily hotel or motel operations with a focus on hospitality management Supervisory experience managing hospitality teams within a resort or hotel environment Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), reservation platforms, and multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette Expertise in revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and managing hospitality operations budgets Exceptional managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate teams effectively Deep understanding of hotel guest service standards, guest relations, and property management best practices Experience in human resources functions related to staffing, training, and employee development in the hospitality sector Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests while advancing your career in a lively and supportive environment!
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
