Join our team as a Hotel Manager at Inn at the Pier! We're searching for a Hotel Manager who is passionate about shaping extraordinary guest experiences and inspiring a dedicated team. This hands-on role focuses on maximizing profitability, guest satisfaction, employee development, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel in support of the General Manager.
Salary:
$80,000- $90,000
Your Role:
As the Hotel Manager, you will ensure the efficient operation of the hotel by supervising all departments in the absence of the General Manager. You will support the GM in driving revenue, controlling costs, enhancing the guest experience, and developing a high-performing team.Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and support the Guest Services, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Housekeeping departments in the absence of the General Manager. Assist the General Manager in revenue generation initiatives and participate in sales efforts including client meetings and sales calls. Participate in the development of managerial and hourly employees through approved training programs and regular one-on-one meetings Lead recruitment, hiring, training, and scheduling for departments based on hotel business levels. Oversee financial responsibilities such as accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and month-end processes. Maintain compliance with SOPs, preventative maintenance programs, and deep cleaning schedules through regular inspections. Uphold service standards by ensuring staff interactions with guests and each other are always friendly, attentive, and professional. Support operations during peak times and conduct regular walks through public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest engagement. Ensure all required property meetings and MOD shifts are completed as scheduled. Assist with the creation of financial reports and meet all reporting deadlines. Promote open communication and professional working relationships across all departments. Other duties as assigned.What We're Looking For:
At least 3+ years progressive experience in hotel operations. Previous supervisory experience required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred. Must be proficient with Windows operating systems. Flexible availability.What We'll Do For You:
