The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, supporting and training front desk staff, resolving guest issues, and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience. Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk staff to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations.
- Greet guests with a welcoming attitude, handle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
- Train, coach, and support front desk agents, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any complaints or concerns.
- Ensure front desk areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including shift checklists, logbooks, and billing.
- Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Handle escalated guest issues professionally and in accordance with hotel policies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years of hotel front desk experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Demands
- Stand for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
- Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
