Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support daily operations at a full-service hotel in the Royal Oak/Southfield, MI area. This role partners closely with the General Manager to drive operational excellence, lead teams, and deliver outstanding guest and employee experiences across all departments. What You'll Do Support daily hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage Serve as Manager on Duty and lead service recovery efforts Coach, develop, and engage department leaders and hourly teams Assist with labor management, scheduling, forecasting, and cost control Monitor guest satisfaction and implement service improvements Collaborate with Sales, Maintenance, and Revenue teams Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Prepare reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting Step in for the General Manager as needed What We're Looking For 3+ years of hotel management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment Strong operational knowledge across hotel departments Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays What We Offer Competitive salary $65,000-$85,000 Performance-based incentives Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) with employer contribution Clear path for career growth If you're a service-driven hospitality leader ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to connect.
