Our front desk team plays a vital role in ensuring a positive first impression and delivering consistently great service. We're currently seeking a reliable, service-focused Guest Service Manager to lead the front office team and uphold IHG's standards of hospitality.
Job Summary:
The Guest Service Manager is responsible for overseeing front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out procedures, training and guiding front desk agents, and resolving guest concerns efficiently. This leadership role supports the General Manager by driving service excellence, accuracy, and team accountability.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily front desk operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-friendly processes Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and a problem-solving attitude Train, and coach front desk agents to uphold IHG brand standards Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally Process check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and payment transactions accurately Monitor room availability, rates, and hotel occupancy reports Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness Audit shift activity logs and ensure completion of daily paperwork and reports Ensure lobby and front desk areas are clean and welcoming at all times Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the
General Manager Qualifications:
1+ year of hotel front desk experience preferred; supervisory experience required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality coursework or certification a plus Professional appearance and demeanor
