Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management, with a focus on guest relations and customer service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to manage a diverse team, and a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all guests. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services. Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in service delivery and addressing any guest complaints promptly. Manage the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies. Supervise and train staff in various departments, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality. Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Monitor hotel performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement as needed. Handle human resources functions including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations. Utilize phone systems effectively for guest inquiries, reservations, and internal communications while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Requirements Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of customer service principles, and guest relations best practices. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Proficiency in managing night audits and understanding financial reporting processes.
