Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Manager to lead our front office operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless experience from check-in to check-out. Your leadership will drive exceptional guest services, uphold hotel standards, and foster a positive environment for both guests and staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, multilingual or bilingual, and excels in customer service problem-solving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to manage day-to-day front desk activities while contributing to a memorable guest experience. Duties Oversee all front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries Manage phone systems and ensure professional phone etiquette in all client communications Utilize property management systems (PMS) handle reservations, guest profiles, and billing accurately Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and resolving issues efficiently Train and supervise front desk staff in hospitality management, customer service standards, and hotel emergency procedures Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations Handle night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, complaints, and resolutions to improve service quality Understand OTA's like Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia.com and others. Experience Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of property management systems (PMS) Bilingual or multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests and team members Demonstrated ability in customer service excellence, problem-solving, and client communication within a hospitality setting Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest security at all times Previous resort or hotel experience preferred, especially in environments requiring guest relations expertise Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and night audit responsibilities efficiently Knowledge of hospitality reservation systems and property management tools is essential for success in this role
