Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary General Manager (Hotel) to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial performance. Your leadership will inspire teams to deliver outstanding service while managing the day-to-day functions that keep the hotel running smoothly. Responsibilities Oversee the entire hotel operation, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services to ensure seamless daily functioning. Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and high performance. Manage hospitality management systems such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation platforms to optimize guest bookings and operational efficiency. Develop and implement strategies for revenue management, pricing, and occupancy optimization to maximize profitability. Oversee budgeting processes, manage hospitality operations budgets, and ensure financial targets are met through diligent financial management and cost control. Maintain high standards of hotel guest service by establishing guest relations protocols, ensuring compliance with hotel guest service standards, and addressing guest concerns promptly. Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring team members adhere to phone etiquette and multi-line phone system protocols. Monitor hotel property conditions regularly through inspections and coordinate maintenance efforts to uphold property standards. Implement policies related to customer service excellence, health & safety regulations, and hospitality industry best practices. Foster effective managerial communication across departments to promote a cohesive operational environment. Experience Proven supervisory experience in hotel management or hospitality operations with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Extensive experience overseeing daily hotel operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong background in revenue management, financial operations, budgeting, and cost control within the hospitality sector. Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance guest relations across diverse clientele. Excellent communication skills with a focus on managerial communication and customer service excellence. Prior experience managing hospitality teams with a focus on human resources practices within the hotel industry. Knowledge of hotel guest service standards, property maintenance protocols, and health & safety regulations is essential.
