Full-Time Join Our Leadership Team We are seeking experienced hospitality professionals for General Manager and Assistant General Manager opportunities at a Hampton Inn in Rhode Island. We are looking for hands-on, results-driven leaders who take pride in delivering exceptional guest service, developing strong teams, maintaining Hilton and Hampton brand standards, and achieving excellent operational and financial performance.
We are currently hiring for:
General Manager Assistant General Manager Qualified candidates should have a strong hospitality background and be comfortable maintaining a visible presence throughout the hotel while providing leadership, direction, and accountability to the entire team. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering/Maintenance, Breakfast, Sales, and other operational departments. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop hotel associates and department leaders. Maintain high standards of guest service and respond effectively and professionally to guest concerns. Ensure compliance with Hilton and Hampton brand standards, company policies, and operating procedures. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Manage labor, expenses, purchasing, and other controllable operating costs. Support revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability goals. Maintain appropriate staffing levels while effectively controlling labor costs. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional guest service. Maintain high standards for hotel cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and overall property presentation. Work closely with ownership to achieve operational and financial objectives. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. General Manager Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of hotel management experience. Previous General Manager experience strongly preferred. Hilton brand experience is required. Strong understanding of hotel operations and financial performance. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, expense control, and profit and loss statements. Proven ability to recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing team. Demonstrated success improving guest satisfaction and operational performance. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead by example and maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the hotel, including weekends and holidays when necessary. Assistant General Manager Qualifications Previous hotel management experience as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar hotel leadership position. Hilton brand experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service. Experience supervising, coaching, and developing hotel associates. Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to assist the General Manager with daily operations, staffing, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and financial performance. Strong organizational and communication skills. Desire and ability to grow into increased hotel leadership responsibilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the hotel, including weekends and holidays when necessary. Preferred Experience Hampton Inn or Hampton Inn & Suites experience. Hilton PEP (Property Engagement Platform) experience. Kipsu guest messaging platform experience. Hilton-branded select-service hotel experience. Experience with Hilton brand standards and quality assurance requirements. Revenue management and hotel sales experience. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and position.
