Hotel Complex General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven experience managing teams through motivation, coaching, and development Strong decision-making skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with computers and general office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases) Ability to interact professionally with all levels of guests, associates, and leadership High degree of reliability, attention to detail, and personal accountability Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
Hotel Complex General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Ensure the highest degree of quality guest service and quickly resolve guest complaints or issues Provide leadership, coaching, and clear direction to management and staff, promoting an inclusive and supportive culture Oversee daily operations, maintain compliance with all standards and governmental regulations, and uphold stringent safety and cleanliness protocols Manage financial performance, analyze profit and loss statements, control expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures Collaborate with departments, including sales, revenue management, and call center to optimize property performance Conduct regular property walks, celebrating successes and identifying areas for improvement through engagement with both guests and team members
