Summary:
The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, efficient service delivery, and profitability. This role manages front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other operational departments while ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel. Ensure outstanding guest service and promptly resolve guest complaints. Supervise and support department managers and staff. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures. Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operating expenses to maximize profitability. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are consistently met. Recruit, train, and evaluate hotel employees. Prepare staff schedules and manage labor costs. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and local regulations. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to maximize bookings and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships. Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to senior management. Handle emergency situations and ensure business continuity. Qualifications 3-7 years of experience in hotel operations or hospitality management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS) such as Hotelkey or Choice. Strong financial and budgeting skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
