Guest Experience Manager The Spa Lounge - Draper, Utah Full-Time | Salary Starting at $40,000+ (DOE) About The Spa Lounge The Spa Lounge is Utah's largest luxury day spa and has been voted Best Day Spa and Best Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City for multiple consecutive years. With multiple locations across Utah and a team of over 220 employees, we are committed to creating an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. Our Draper location is our largest and busiest spa, and we're looking for an experienced, organized, and service-driven Guest Experience Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure every guest receives an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. This position works alongside and supports the Spa Director, allowing both leaders to focus on their areas of expertise while creating a seamless operation. Position Overview The Front Desk Manager is responsible for leading our Guest Experience Team and ensuring the front desk operates efficiently every day. This role focuses on staffing, hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, customer service, cleanliness, organization, and maintaining the high standards The Spa Lounge is known for. You'll spend much of your time working alongside the front desk team—leading by example, coaching in real time, solving problems, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership Lead, coach, and develop the front desk team. Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new receptionists. Train and onboard all new front desk employees. Hold team members accountable to company standards and expectations. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented culture. Staffing & Scheduling Ensure front desk shifts are fully staffed. Assist with scheduling and shift coverage. Coordinate break coverage and daily staffing needs. Help manage attendance, punctuality, and performance. Guest Experience Create an exceptional first and last impression for every guest. Resolve guest concerns professionally and confidently. Coach the team on hospitality, communication, and customer service. Ensure phones are answered promptly and appointments are scheduled accurately. Help maximize memberships, retail sales, and rebooking opportunities. Operations Support daily spa operations alongside the Spa Director. Monitor lobby presentation, relaxation lounge, locker rooms, and front desk cleanliness. Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly. Maintain organization of front desk supplies and retail displays. Assist with inventory counts and operational projects as needed. Help implement and maintain company policies and procedures. Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Has previous management or leadership experience. Has outstanding customer service skills. Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Communicates professionally with both guests and employees. Enjoys coaching and developing others. Remains calm under pressure in a busy environment. Can confidently solve problems and make decisions. Is comfortable using scheduling and computer systems. Is available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Spa, hospitality, hotel, luxury retail, or medical office leadership experience is preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary of $40,000+ , depending on experience.
