Description:
Leadership & Training Serve as the go-to leader and mentor for the front desk team. Train new front desk associates on all systems, protocols, guest service standards, and emergency procedures. Provide ongoing coaching, and support, to ensure staff development and accountability. Administrative Duties Manage and post weekly front desk schedules based on occupancy, staffing needs, and labor guidelines. Perform daily and weekly third-party reconciliations (Expedia, Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.), ensuring accuracy in commissions, payments, and reservations. Order and maintain supplies, including Costco shopping for the hotel as assigned. Checking outstanding balances daily. Review reservations made in ResNexus during the shift to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies (e.g., incorrect rates, dates, guest info, or room assignments). Ensure all details are accurate and align with current availability and property policies. Guest Relations & Reputation Management Monitor and respond professionally to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, Booking.com, Expedia, AirBnB etc. Resolve guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating when appropriate. Ensure the front desk team delivers consistent, friendly, and knowledgeable guest service always. Operations & Oversight Ensure proper shift coverage and communication between front desk shifts. Support check-in/check-out procedures and assist during high-volume periods. Monitor front desk cleanliness, presentation, and readiness for guests. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, safety standards, and brand expectations.
Requirements:
Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Going to town when needed for supplies. On-call availability may be required for urgent matters or call-outs. Food Handlers permit MAST Permit
