The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, janitorial services, and hospitality standards. This leadership role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Head Housekeeper will ensure that all cleaning and floor care tasks meet the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient operations across the property. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public spaces are cleaned to hotel standards Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to team members based on occupancy levels and operational needs Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, laundry areas, and public spaces to ensure quality control Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation policies in compliance with industry regulations Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to resolve guest issues promptly Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and inventory levels Stay updated on industry best practices for industrial cleaning, floor care, and custodial techniques Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management; prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and hospitality standards Leadership skills with experience managing a team of housekeeping staff or custodians Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred but not required This role offers an opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a dynamic housekeeping team within a reputable hotel environment.
