Job Description

Housekeeping Manager Status:
Full-time Lead with Pride. Create a Clean, Comfortable, and Caring Environment. Wellspring Health & Rehab of Cascadia is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our leadership team! This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming, sanitary, and safe environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. As the Housekeeping Manager, you'll lead, train, and support our housekeeping team while ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your leadership will have a direct impact on the care experience of our residents and the well-being of our entire community.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coach, and support a team of housekeeping staff to ensure a clean and well-maintained facility. Schedule shifts and assign duties based on facility needs and census. Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure quality and compliance with cleanliness standards. Train new team members and provide ongoing feedback and evaluations. Monitor supply levels, coordinate with Central Supply, and ensure equipment is used and stored properly. Respond promptly and professionally to resident and staff concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services. Recommend facility maintenance, repairs, or upgrades as needed. Ensure consistent attendance and reliability of housekeeping staff.
You'll Need:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license required.
Experience:
At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead a team with patience, professionalism, and positivity. Understanding of infection control and sanitation practices. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Comfortable using basic technology and communication tools. Why Join Wellspring?
