Job Description
Executive Housekeeper preferably with hotel experience to lead our team. The Executive Housekeeper is to work directly with their team to ensure that the cleanliness standards of the entire hotel are met through training, staffing and supervision of labor, efficient management of operating supplies and proactive monitoring of guest service scores and comments.
Responsibilities to include the following:
- Providing superior Guest Service
- Motivating the Housekeeping Team and other departments of the hotel
- Training the Housekeeping Team on Quality Service
- Planning and coordinating the activities of the team including scheduling
- Coordinating & Conducting the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that health regulations, safety standards & departmental policies are achieved
- Planning, organizing and monitoring the Housekeeping Team's work to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards which requires continuous visual and written inspections of guestrooms and public space
- Conducting periodic inventory of guest supplies, small equipment and linens as required
- Evaluating and reporting on conditions of furniture, fixtures and finishes etc
- Participating in the Manager of Duty Program
- Monitoring and controlling expenses within the departmental budget
- Willing to "pitch in" and help co workers with their job duties and be a team player Job Requirements
- Must possess thorough knowledge of all housekeeping and laundry operations
- Must possess the ability to resolve guest, supervisor and associate conflicts
- Must possess prior professional housekeeping experience
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual a plus
