HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hotel team. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced housekeeping professional who enjoys maintaining high cleanliness standards, supporting a team, and making sure our guests have a great stay. We are open to different scheduling arrangements depending on the candidate. The ideal full-time schedule would include approximately 2 days focused on housekeeping inspections and supervisory responsibilities, along with 3 days working as a regular housekeeper. We are also open to hiring a qualified candidate specifically for a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor position focused primarily on inspections and supervisory duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards Conduct room inspections and provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff Ensure rooms are cleaned thoroughly, accurately, and within expected timeframes Assist with daily housekeeping operations and help keep the department running efficiently Work alongside housekeeping staff and lead by example Communicate room status, maintenance issues, and guest requests with the Front Desk and management team Identify cleanliness or maintenance concerns and ensure they are addressed promptly Assist with training new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures and hotel standards Help monitor housekeeping productivity and quality Assist with organizing daily assignments and priorities when needed Help maintain housekeeping supplies and communicate inventory needs Respond professionally to guest concerns involving housekeeping Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with housekeeping-related tasks as needed Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and operating procedures

SCHEDULE

We are flexible with the right candidate.

Full-Time Option:

Approximately 2 days per week focused on room inspections and supervisory responsibilities Approximately 3 days per week working alongside the housekeeping team as a housekeeper

Part-Time Supervisor Option:

Approximately 2 days per week focused on housekeeping inspections and supervisory responsibilities The exact schedule and responsibilities may be adjusted based on the candidate's experience, availability, and the needs of the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred Previous housekeeping supervisory or inspection experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to identify and correct cleanliness issues Reliable and dependable Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to provide constructive feedback and hold team members accountable to hotel standards Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of housekeeping when scheduled Positive attitude and willingness to help the team succeed
