Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all areas of the facility Lead, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety standards Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and checklists aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning environments Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, sanitation levels, and compliance with safety regulations Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure operational efficiency Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment for all staff members Skills Extensive experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or commercial settings Proven staff supervision and team management skills with a track record of leading successful teams Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff and other departments Customer service orientation with the ability to address guest or client needs promptly and professionally Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment, laundry operations, and hospitality housekeeping procedures Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in cleanliness standards
