Job Summary Tru by Hilton Camillus, NY is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our cleaning department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and guest satisfaction. In this vital role, you will oversee daily housekeeping activities across all areas, manage cleaning staff, and uphold safety protocols. Duties Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning schedules and high-quality service delivery Oversee the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Implement and monitor sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations and infection control standards Manage laundry services including linen handling, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards Train staff on the proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety procedures such as manual handling and pressure washing Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, PPE, and equipment like floor care tools and window cleaning supplies Lead efforts in custodial maintenance tasks including window cleaning, floor care (stripping, waxing), pressure washing exteriors, and other specialized cleaning projects Ensure proper disposal of waste materials following sanitation guidelines and environmental standards Address guest requests or concerns promptly with excellent customer service skills to enhance overall guest experience Skills Extensive houskeeping experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment including vacuums, pressure washers, floor buffers, and window cleaning tools Knowledge of chemical handling procedures for safe use of cleaning agents and disinfectants Skilled in infection control practices to prevent cross-contamination in high-traffic or sensitive areas Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling bulky items or equipment Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards guests and team members Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks such as sanitation routines, laundry services, and custodial duties Familiarity with safety protocols related to manual handling, PPE use, and chemical storage regulations Experience in supervising teams within a custodial or hospitality environment is highly preferred Join us as an Executive Housekeeper to lead our dedicated team in creating pristine environments that guests trust.
