This role oversees housekeeping and laundry staff, maintains quality standards, manages inventory, and works closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. Prepare daily room assignments and monitor staffing to meet occupancy needs. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure IHG brand standards are met before rooms are released. Train, coach, schedule, and motivate housekeeping team members while fostering a positive work environment. Ensure laundry operations run efficiently and maintain proper linen inventory. Maintain housekeeping supplies, amenities, and chemical inventories while controlling costs. Coordinate deep-cleaning schedules and work with Maintenance to address room repairs and preventative maintenance. Ensure housekeeping offices, closets, laundry rooms, and storage areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping concerns professionally. Ensure compliance with all IHG standards, hotel policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience required. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work weekends and holidays as needed.
