The Adelphi Hotel is seeking an exceptional Executive Housekeeper to join our leadership team and elevate the guest experience across our refined rooms, suites, and public spaces. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to a prestigious property where attention to detail and operational excellence are paramount.
About the RoleThe Executive Housekeeper will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, service, and guest satisfaction throughout the property.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who inspires excellence, develops high-performing teams, and maintains the impeccable standards expected of a luxury hotel.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead all housekeeping and laundry operations.
Ensure guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently exceed luxury hospitality standards.
Maintain Forbes Travel Guide and luxury brand service expectations.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop housekeeping managers, supervisors, and line staff.
Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance audits.
Manage departmental budgets, labor productivity, inventory, and operating expenses.
Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Implement and refine housekeeping procedures, training programs, and service initiatives.
Monitor guest feedback and lead continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
QualificationsRequiredMinimum 5 years of leadership experience in luxury hotel housekeeping.
Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Experience working in a Forbes Four-Star, Five-Star, or equivalent luxury hotel environment.
Proven track record of leading large teams and maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
Fluent English proficiency.
Luxury resort or independent luxury hotel experience.
Experience training teams to Forbes standards.
Additional language skills are highly valued.
