Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety within our hospitality or commercial environment. In this vital role, you will oversee cleaning operations, supervise housekeeping staff, and ensure all areas meet rigorous quality and safety regulations. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of all housekeeping areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and service areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards. Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance levels. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols aligned with safety regulations and sanitation best practices. Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment usage, ensuring proper maintenance and inventory control for efficient operations. Enforce safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, and chemical handling to promote a safe working environment for all staff. Coordinate with management to address guest or client concerns promptly, ensuring exceptional customer service experiences. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within hospitality, hotel, or commercial settings. Supervising experience in a housekeeping or cleaning environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and safety regulations applicable to industrial and commercial cleaning. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent managerial communication skills for training staff, coordinating tasks, and resolving issues efficiently. Prior experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; a background in management roles related to housekeeping is advantageous. Familiarity with laundry operations and hotel housekeeping management practices will be considered a plus. •Weekends and holidays are required.
