They identify cleanliness flaws, report maintenance issues, and guide housekeeping staff to deliver a welcoming, comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Room Inspections:
Conduct thorough, systematic checks of vacant and departing guest rooms to verify cleaning quality, proper linen placement, and overall presentation.
Quality Control:
Ensure all areas strictly comply with brand SOPs and state health regulations.
Defect Reporting:
Identify maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, broken fixtures, damaged furniture) and coordinate with the engineering or maintenance team for timely repairs.
Staff Guidance & Training:
Coach and train room attendants and housekeepers on proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of chemicals.
Supply & Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels on cleaning supplies and linens, assisting with inventory counts and distribution.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Typically 1 to 3 years of experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a related cleaning and supervisory role.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis. Attention to
Detail:
A critical eye for spotting dust, stains, and missed cleaning tasks.
Communication Skills:
Strong ability to relay room statuses, performance feedback, and maintenance requests to other departments.
