Housekeeping Supervisor Quail Park of Lynnwood Have you always wanted a fun and rewarding job? Do you have a passion for working with seniors? Look no further as we currently have an opening for a Housekeeping Supervisor to manage our wonderful housekeeping department! Position is Monday-Friday.
What You'll Do:
Housekeeping Supervisor Oversee routine housekeeping duties, ensuring the team is completing daily assignment to include common areas, resident apartments, and laundry, as necessary to ensure adequate housekeeping coverage Ensure the housekeeping team perform their assigned duties effectively and efficiently. Manage the schedule and assign daily tasks to staff Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating and performance management of housekeeping staff Responsible for maintaining department with budgetary guidelines and ensure department goals and milestones are met adhering to department budgets Resolve escalating issues arising from operations and that require coordination with other departments Responsible for ensuring that resident apartments are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner including carpet vacuumed; furniture and surfaces dusted; floors mopped; bathroom sink, tub/shower, toilet, and all surfaces cleaned; kitchen counters, sinks and appliances cleaned; and apartment generally tidied, on a weekly basis. Responsible for ensuring that all community common areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner including halls, living room, lobby, dining rooms, elevators, public restrooms, activity areas, wellness center and other sitting areas, on a daily basis. Ensure resident laundry services are done efficiently and effectively; responsible for maintaining laundry supplies and laundry rooms in neat and clean condition. Responsible for ensuring all housekeeping supplies are maintained at an adequate supply level Work with the Director of Engineering to ensure that the community is in compliance with state and local regulatory agency guidelines Conduct weekly walkthrough inspections of apartment and common areas to ensure services performed are meeting or exceeding standards and makes recommendations for improvements to the Director of Engineering Maintain record of inspections
What We're Looking For:
Housekeeping Supervisor Previous housekeeping experience in senior living, hotel or a hospitality setting 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to interpret written instructions, and to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members Proficiency in basis computer skills including MS Office Previous experience using TELS a plus Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure
