Available shifts will be scheduled Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Summary:

This position is responsible for the administrative authority and accountability for supervising and directing the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. Does day-to-day Housekeeping Laundry required to keep the Housekeeping Laundry Service Delivery System in good working order.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the work of others Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of housekeeping and laundry administration functions in a health care institution Ability to use Word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail and the Internet Knowledge of infection control techniques Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements and ability to follow all regulations and requirements ensuring personal and resident safety at all times Ability to read, write and communicate in English Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

1 years of related experience required; Experience in hospitality or health-care setting preferred Previous experience supervising work for a team of individuals with differing levels of skill to enable them to achieve performance and quality standards in a long-term care environment, preferred
