Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities. Your energetic approach will ensure that workspaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming for employees, clients, and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors using floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques to maintain a polished appearance. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely, following environmental and safety protocols. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and polishers efficiently to deliver optimal results. Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care tasks to restore surfaces and extend their lifespan. Use manual handling skills for heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and other designated areas with attention to detail. Follow all safety procedures related to chemical agent handling and environmental services to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial setting with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing. Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly with proper safety measures in place. Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and polishers. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
