Duties Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and specialized facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Operate commercial cleaning tools such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces at optimal standards Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocol adherence Conduct heavy lifting tasks while practicing safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed Maintain sanitation standards by regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal Assist with custodial responsibilities including replenishing supplies, restocking paper products, and maintaining cleaning schedules Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or painting tasks to uphold the overall cleanliness and functionality of the premises Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures Skilled in the use of cleaning equipment, vacuums, and other custodial tools Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning products Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting or moving heavy objects or supplies Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Familiarity with sanitation standards, facilities maintenance practices, and safety protocols in a custodial setting Ability to work without supervision Join our team to help create a clean, safe, and inviting environment!
