JIMS Machining is looking for a dependable, self-directed Janitorial Technician who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and looking their best. We're an established manufacturing company in Camarillo, California , and we've been in business since 1967. We're proud of the products we make, the people who work here, and the reputation we've built over more than 50 years. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes working independently, staying busy, and knowing exactly what needs to be done without someone constantly looking over their shoulder. And there's a pretty nice perk to the schedule: ⭐ Every Other Friday Off! We work a 9/80 schedule , giving you a three-day weekend every other week.

Monday-Thursday:

7:00 AM-4:30 PM Every other

OFF! No weekends Full-time day shift What You'll Be Doing You'll play an important role in keeping our manufacturing facility clean, safe, organized, and welcoming. You'll have your own responsibilities and will be trusted to manage your work throughout the day. Office Areas Empty trash cans daily Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop as needed Clean and wipe down counters and appliances Keep office areas neat and presentable Manufacturing Areas Empty trash cans daily Dust and wipe down surfaces Clean large utility sinks Sweep and mop floors as needed Help keep shop areas clean and well maintained Restrooms Clean and disinfect sinks, cabinets, walls, countertops, toilets, and urinals Sweep and mop floors and entryways Clean mirrors Replenish paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other supplies Keep restrooms clean, sanitary, and well stocked Break Rooms Clean and wipe down countertops and tables Clean appliances as needed Sweep and mop floors Keep break areas clean and pleasant for employees Parking Lot & Exterior Areas Pick up trash and debris Spot sweep the parking lot and surrounding areas Help keep the outside of our facility clean and presentable Cleaning Supplies Monitor cleaning supplies and maintain adequate inventory Notify management when supplies need to be replenished The Person We're Looking For This position is a particularly good fit for someone who: Takes pride in doing a job well Is dependable and shows up consistently Is self-directed and can work independently Has good attention to detail Is organized and able to manage daily responsibilities without constant supervision Understands that a clean facility makes a difference to everyone who works here Is comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments Has a positive, professional attitude Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or facilities experience is a plus, but it's not everything we're looking for.
